This week, we started planning our community events, and organized a STEAM camp for the middle schoolers. We also recieved a $1,000 grant from LHB! We have a few camps and parent night outs to look forward to as well. Build started learning how to use CAD through SolidWorks. Logistics focused on safety planning, along with creating posters for our upcoming events. Logistics also connected with the Season 2 Rambling with Ripsaw podcast manager, and set up the recording plans. We are all looking forward to Kickoff, and eagerly await the competition season!

This week for Ripsaw Robotics, logistics is busy working on sponsor letters, setting up an outreach event (Movie Night), and continuing to brainstorm fundraising ideas. The programming team is learning how to navigate coding and organize their plans for the build season. As for the build team, members have been organizing our closet (lots of equipment!) and prepping for the upcoming season. Expect some podcast episodes soon, we're restarting Rambling with Ripsaw in a video format.

We have some exciting news! Grace Lavan has been appointed as captain of programming. Congratulations Grace on this new role! We are excited to see the development within the programming team this season.

Week 0!!

Our team members Lily Rosen, Arrick Brown, Calvin Snesrud, and Mason Sundquist are working on the Impact Award.

Build completed the H-Drive along with finalized superstructure, testing out the electronics, and building the arm.

See you next week - stay warm in these below-zero temps!

Grow your brain, accept the challenge.
